Bruce Jacobs, Acoustic and Electric Bass:
Bruce hails from Nova Scotia, where he was an integral rhythm section fixture in the industry for many years. Although he has toured throughout Canada, the United States, much of Western Europe and parts of the Caribbean with iconic East Coast acts like the Rankin Family, Natalie MacMaster, and the Barra MacNeils, he is primarily known for his stylistic prowess and consummate studio sensibility. These abilities have seen Jake through over 30 professional theatre productions, dozens of television appearances, over one hundred individual cd sessions, hundreds of jingle and promotional sessions and literally thousands of live performances. Jake realizes the importance of helping young performers develop, and has tutored bass, rhythm section performance and "style" classes at many student band camps over the years. Along with his dedication to performing, Jake is also a recognized stringed instrument technician and counts numerous high profile artists in his new home in Winnipeg, Manitoba amongst his clientele.
